This project involved a complete renovation, including the addition of a Subway and Tim Hortons, the renovation of the White Spot kitchen, and the aesthetic improvements of all finishes in the hold room. The project footprint was a highly sensitive area that had the possibility of impacting passengers at all times. The Departures Room renovation was an exceptionally successful project that was nominated for best Commercial Building award in 2018. The project was completed on time, on budget and with no major disruptions to the airport’s operation. 3BP was the Owner’s Representative, including the Project Manager of the design team, development of phasing plans, oversight during construction, and close out and hand over to Operations.
