The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) handles more rental cars than any other airport in the world with approximately 15,000 pick-ups and returns per day.

3PB was challenged to develop an innovative and comprehensive strategy to consolidate the 21-separate rent-a-car facilities into a single facility to handle all aspects of the process. Our concept and ultimate solution represented significant cost saving to LAX and was lauded by the evaluation committee. 3BP was contracted as the “Innovation Team” to support a shortlisted consortium participating in the Consolidated Rent-a-Car development at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The ConRAC project is a key part of the US$5.5 billion Landside Modernization Program currently being implemented by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).
